The moon – dissolves a star

Sweet – safe – houses

At night – dead-end dreams

Empty – silent - roads

When formula has failed

To the skies –

no laws

For the merry shadows

Of all multitudes

Under the dirt

Under the night

Under the mind

Soul peeled naked –

imperial blow

Calvary –

exhibited to strangers

Asleep be the hum

In silence of streets

Recluse at present -

dreadful

Wild places planted in the mind

Solitude -

led me then away

City of Pause
